Hello,  My name is Kathleen April Isadore, commonly referred to as " April " I was born on the Driftpile Cree Nation Reserve in Northern Alberta, Canada.
I have 5 adult children and 11 grandchildren, thus making me a "Kokum" (which means grandmother in the Cree language).
Both my parents attended the St. Bruno's Mission school in Joussard, Alberta. CAN.
I am a 60's Scoop Survivor & after living through the effects of historical traumas, I decided in 2019 to create " Kokum's Outreach," a place where people of all nationalities can come to experience opportunities for healing at various wellness camps while enjoying  Nature's beauty.

On April.21,2026 the Kokum's Outreach Alberta Tourism signage has been changed to "Chill Hill"; however, the programming & service delivery remain the same.
